Extending the stay of Ukrainians in Moscow

To do this, you need to contact the migration service if:

• a citizen of Ukraine entered an educational institution during his stay;
• was employed under an employment contract or issued a work patent;
• invited as highly qualified specialists;
• received refugee status;
• submitted an application for temporary asylum on the territory of the Russian Federation;
• received a temporary residence permit or applied for this permit.

Procedure for registering citizens of Ukraine at their place of stay in Russia

Depending on what citizenship a foreigner has, the rules for his entry into Russian territory will depend. For citizens of Ukraine in Russia, crossing the border in 2020 is carried out using a foreign passport. A visa is not required.
