All preferential categories of citizens of the Russian Federation have the right to receive vouchers to sanatorium and resort organizations. They are issued on a general basis or for medical reasons. Treatment and travel are completely free, but there is one significant drawback - the long queue. The priority is determined by the date of submission of the application for the voucher. How vouchers for sanatorium treatment are provided to pensioners

Vouchers are provided by the Social Insurance Fund. According to the Law “On Social State Assistance”, they are primarily distributed among the following categories of pensioners with benefits:

WWII participants, military veterans, family members of those killed in the war and persons who became disabled;
holders of the order “Resident of besieged Leningrad”, “Honorary Donor”;
persons who have been exposed to radiation;
non-working old-age pensioners;
persons who have been subjected to repression or have health problems due to terrorist attacks;
labor veterans.

The list of beneficiaries may be adjusted by local authorities.

Note! The voucher is issued for medical reasons. You can use it to undergo sanatorium-resort treatment for 18, 21, 24 or 45 days.

To receive a ticket you must:

Make an appointment with your doctor at the clinic at the place where your compulsory health insurance policy is attached. If necessary, undergo an examination to identify indications and contraindications for spa treatment.
The doctor will issue a certificate of form 070/у to receive a voucher. It is valid for 12 months.
Get in line for sanatorium treatment. To do this, contact the Social Insurance Fund at your place of residence or the MFC (in person or through the State Services portal), capital pensioners need to contact the Department of Social Protection of the Population or use electronic government services. You need to collect a package of documents - a certificate in form 070/u, an application, a passport.
Monitor the queue and wait for a message from an employee of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

Important! As soon as the turn approaches, the pensioner will immediately receive a notification. The resort package must be picked up at the specified address. It is issued no later than 18 days before check-in at the sanatorium.

As soon as the voucher is in hand, you need to pick up the sanatorium card in form 072/u. Without it, spa treatment is impossible. It must be issued by the attending physician at the clinic at your place of residence.
