In addition, it is envisaged to verify the operation of meters against reference indicators in the laboratory by authorized metrological services. The frequency of mandatory testing of the cold water meter is 5 years, the hot water meter is every 4 years.

Attention! It is allowed to use different models of meters if their characteristics comply with established standards. The shelf life of a water meter depends on the model and ranges from 10 to 12 years.
