Is it possible to register in another city without registering?

It is worth saying that the departure sheet is an optional document. If it is lost, the authorities are obliged to register the subject who contacted them. Logically, before obtaining registration in a new place, you must register in the previous one.

To control the movement of citizens of the Russian Federation, registration at the place of temporary or permanent residence is mandatory.
Migration legislation of the Russian Federation is the main source of migration law on the territory of our country.

It is this, represented by numerous Federal laws, that determines the migration process and the procedure for registering Russian citizens or foreigners at their new place of residence.

As for the need for registration in a new city when moving, this practice was introduced in order to control the tax and other obligations of residents of the Russian Federation.

Depending on how long a person plans to live in another city, he can apply for two types of registration:

  • permanent (indefinite);
  • temporary (up to 3 years).

It is necessary to register at a new place of residence only if a citizen wants to stay in a city outside the boundaries of permanent registration for more than 3 months. In accordance with the law, permanent registration can only be obtained if one of the following circumstances exists:

  • purchase or other type of acquisition of your own home;
  • the consent of the owner of a certain residential premises to register a specific citizen.

Temporary registration is a little easier. It allows a citizen to stay in a city located outside his permanent place of registration for a certain period of time, which does not exceed the maximum established by law (3 years).

Temporary registration in another city

  • passport or birth certificate;
  • statement on the need for temporary registration;
  • documents for rent or ownership of living space (if such a document is missing, the application will require the signature of the owner of the living space and his personal presence, this will confirm his consent to temporary occupancy. If it is impossible for the owner of the apartment to be present, his statement certified by a notary is sufficient;
  • a receipt confirming payment of the state duty.

This package of documents must be submitted to the local FMS office or passport office. After three days, this organization issues an insert sheet indicating temporary registration . Is it possible to get a new registration without registering?

  • consent to register a new tenant;
  • passport details of this resident, including series, number, date and place of birth;
  • date of drawing up the consent;
  • signature of the co-owner.

Is it possible to register without the owner's consent? You can register without the owner’s consent if:

  • a registration is being issued for a minor child whose parent is already registered at this address;

How to change your registration
